Explore images, view their metadata, and make quick edits by cropping, rotating, or flipping them.
Added support for the JPEG 2000, XBM, and XPM image formats. The app now also provides better error messages if an image file can't be read.
The 300% keyboard shortcut now actually zooms to 300%. The "Replace Original" save option for image editing is now deactivated if the original file can't be moved to the trash.
Improved support for more rare and damaged variations of image formats like JPEG, PNG, and TIFF. Improved performance for loading JPEG XL images.
This release fixes issues with editing images that are already rotated via metadata, printing sometimes resulting in empty pages or garbled output, and rare crashes when closing a window.
This release adds image editing support for PNGs and JPEGs. Images can be cropped, rotated, and flipped. New zoom controls allow setting a specific zoom level and features a more compact style. Support for additional metadata formats like XMP and new image information fields have been added as well.
This release fixes issues with loading .svgz (compressed SVG) files.
Rotating an image will now write the new orientation to the image files. For now, this feature is only supported for JPEG files. Aditionally, several user interface elements have been updated to more recent design patterns.
This releases fixed problems with fractional scaling and the output of long exposure times in the image properties. It also makes the page orientation selection in the print preview dialog functional. It also adresses issues with loading some SVGs containing text when using Loupe outside of Flatpak.
This releases fixed three bugs. When using the "Fill Space" option in the print preview, the print size will now be updated to fill the page again after choosing a different page orientation. PNGs can now be reliably browsed on SMB shares. Switching between images using the mouse's forward/back buttons will no longer use animations to be consitent with the arrow buttons on the keyboard.
This release polishes various features of the previous release. Changing images via keyboard shortcuts now happens without animation. The Ctrl+C shortcut can now not only copy the viewed image but can also be used to copy selected metadata. Zoom now tries to zoom into the mouse cursor position in more situations. Double tapping on touchscreens now zooms into the tapped position instead of the center. Zoom on touchpad is now also possible by using the Ctrl button and scrolling, supplementing the existing pinch gesture. The new version also brings support for more formats as well as improved sandboxing and memory limitation for image loaders.
